Used it three or four times so far and all seems well. We needed it for a sloped garden and it is good for this unlike some other models that do not tell you this in the description details. This model does not have a grass collecting box of course.
We were very pleased with the price and being able to track approximately when it would arrive so we would be sure to be at home. It came when forecast so this eliminated stress and gave us confidence in Amazon to trust what they say to go on and use them in future for other things.
does the job no hassle - long rough grass on a slope, 2010-08-02
... as others have suggested, this just cuts grass without a struggle and leaves it on the ground. No fancy bits, hope it will be robust as my last 'plain' flymo was (I left it abroad after 10 years when I moved back to the UK).

Had it some weeks and it seems fine. It replaces another Flymo. I look forward to this one being as good as the last one.

Previously had Flymo machines - no problems, however the Turbo 400 does not have a grass box and does not always say such in the advertising. Not suitable for large lawn areas, unless your favourite passtime is raking up the grass cuttings - not mine!
Ideal mower for slopes and small areas, 2010-08-02
This product suited my needs perfectly. My garden has steep slopes and little patches of lawn between heather and shrubbery. Cutting lines was not important and the lawn was too rough for a cylinder mower. Having a lead is a nuisance but a petrol mower would be heavy and hard to use on slopes even with a power drive. A petrol mower also makes you stink with oil smoke. I am glad I got the more powerful 400 model as it sails through long grass without slowing down too much. It is easy to clean when you are finished. Well done Flymo!
