Dreadful waste of money! Difficult to operate effectively. Tap feed a nuisance - why no automatic? Line ran out or broke inside far too quickly. Can't manage reel change without stronger fingers and/or a better knack for engineering. Bought on special offer with a trusted name, but have gone back to a more expensive B&D model. (I was happy with my old B&D for several seasons before it died.) The garden of earthly delights doesn't contain a Bosch strimmer!

Good piece of kit to get to ends of garden the lawnmower won't reach.
Find it works better without the safety head.

Had the description of the strimmer been more detailed i.e only a single strand cutter and a push to the ground to extend the cutter, i would probably have tried another mopdel but moneywise it does the job - not as well as my previous one - and I will probably "get used to ut"
Bosch Easytrim, 2009-06-23
Bosch have failed badly with this trimmer. The nice thing to say is that it looks good hanging on the wall; that's were you will leave it after a couple of uses. The feed mechanism is its biggest and most exasperating weakness - leading to countless and frustrating dis-assemblies of the line housing, manual manipulation of the line itself and re-assembly.
I read the earlier reviews and couldn't believe that a Bosch could be so bad - it is.
I'm seriously reviewing my buy Bosch policy - "Buyer beware" seems to be a good maxim here.

Excellent little strimmer very cheap price yet it is the quality you would expect from Bosch perfect for a medium sized garden
