The Stanley 9-way screwdriver is a useful tool that will be handy in any household. The moulded, textured handle, in the traditional Stanley black and yellow style, has a cushioned grip that makes it comfortable to hold and apply a firm grip. Eight separate attachments fit into the handle as required. Each of these interchangeable attachments has a shaped plastic base that easily slides in and out of the handle, without being too loose. There are three standard flat-head screwdriver attachments (1/8, 3/16, 1/4 inch), plus three Philips heads (#0, #1, #2). There's an awl and a very handy tack puller, which has a two-pronged claw, much like a miniaturised version of the tail of a claw hammer. The final utility in the set is a hook driver, which can easily be missed upon first inspection. This black plastic attachment fits onto the end of one of the flat head screwdrivers and provides you with a recess approximately one-inch wide. The purpose of this is to enable you to slide it over ring hooks, or picture hooks and get a sure purchase for fitting or releasing.
